Mice Investigation

We have been investigating whether there is is difference in weight between male and female mice. My hypothesis is that females would weigh more because some of them are pregnant and I think the females will eat more in general.

Our conclusion to this investigation is that the males weigh more overall than the females. This has proven that our hypothesis is wrong. The graph shows clearly that the males weigh more because the lower quartile, median quartile and upper quartile are higher on each one. At the top of the graph the females weigh more than the males but this could be because some are pregnant.
